On 28th Sept. 2014 (Sunday), Team Ashwamedh visited an Orphanage for Girls 'Amcha Ghar' in Uttan, Bhayander (W). Our volunteer Ms. Pooja Verma taught girls how to make wall-decoration piece in a Craft-workshop. Girls made three groups Rose, Lotus and Orchid and prepared 3 wonderful wall-decoration-arts within 3 hrs. from 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. After the workshop Team Ashwamedh celebrated Pooja's Birthday there with kids. Girls showed their talents by performing solo, group dances and singing. To end-up the day with same enthusiasm we played some rounds of Garba on famous songs of Dandiya-Queen Falguni Pathak. It was really a great way to celebrate birthday with such destitute girls for whom their orphanage is more than their home and life. Thank you Pooja for all the good work and contribution to the activity.
