Wall craft designing by Ashwamedh Foundation at Aamcha Ghar.

On 28th Sept. 2014 (Sunday), Team Ashwamedh visited an Orphanage for Girls 'Amcha Ghar' in Uttan, Bhayander (W). Our volunteer Ms. Pooja Verma taught girls how to make wall-decoration piece in a Craft-workshop. Girls made three groups Rose, Lotus and Orchid and prepared 3 wonderful wall-decoration-arts within 3 hrs. from 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. After the workshop Team Ashwamedh celebrated Pooja's Birthday there with kids. Girls showed their talents by performing solo, group dances and singing. To end-up the day with same enthusiasm we played some rounds of Garba on famous songs of Dandiya-Queen Falguni Pathak. It was really a great way to celebrate birthday with such destitute girls for whom their orphanage is more than their home and life. Thank you Pooja for all the good work and contribution to the activity.

My Sunday Morning started with an awesome journey with Ashwamedh Foundation.
Visited 'Asha Daan' with 'Team Ashwamedh'.Witnessed heart-touching moments in Asha Daan. This activity taught me many things about life. It brought a great change in my thinking and my nature.

Yesterday I came to know the meaning of 'real smile' which was clearly seen on the faces of those needy people.More than anything else they need 'love'.

"Just giving a minute of your time can bring smiles on 'N numbers' of those little angels

What is the meaning of 'real social work', I realized it after working with Ashwamedh Foundation.

Thanks a lot for making me part of the Ashwamedh Foundation team and giving me an opportunity to do my bit for the Society

Donations to Ashadaan

Ashwamedh Foundation accepts all kinds of donations; i.e. in Money as well as in Kinds.
We collected around 3 drum-fuls of Clothes, Basketful of Toys, Stationery Items, Utensils etc. from genuine donors under the 'JOY OF GIVING WEEK' 2013 last year and distributed it to needy people in many places like Street Children School run by Umang Foundation in Santacruz, Fatima Ashram in Malvan of Sindhudurg, and Asha Daan etc.

On 21st September Team Ashwamedh visited Asha Daan in Byculla and donated around 700 clothes and more than 100 stainless steel plates to the Missionary of Mother Teresa. Asha daan works for the destitutes and it was privilege of Ashwamedh Foundation to contribute towards their noble cause through this activity of visit and donations.

Team Ashwamedh members Rajendra Balsara and Abdul Hakim Ansari completed this activity with the help of volunteers Krisha Sonkar, Velly Muthu…
