Re-opening of AFKC Vasai Center 

after lift on Covid-19 restrictions

  The second wave of Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2021 was really bad for India. Many people lost their loved ones during the pandemic. Due to lockdowns we kept our NGO center closed for few weeks. But continued our other social work like donating ration, medicines etc. to needy people. Only in the month of August we could re-open our center. 

 In the first session we too basic session for students. In which Students in age group 4 to 7 learned -  Counting, Body parts and it's functions etc. We also shared some basic information about Olympics. For, Students in the age group of 8 to 12 we revised Stories, poems etc. in the interactive session. Birthday celebration of  our ex-Volunteer Onkar took place after the session.

He visited AFKC Vasai with his family (Parents, sister and his wife).Team. Celebrated Birthday, distributed Sweets and Gifts to children.

 After Sunday's Interviews got over, we gave a 30 min slot to visitors of our Volunteer Mridulmani to explain about Ayurvedic Products and their benefits.    All our volunteers were exhausted by day's work but still attended the session to ensure that guests who were waiting the whole day get the chance to give their presentation.     We don't entertain any visitors who visit Ashwamedh Foundation center without prior Permission but we also respect our Volunteer's contribution towards Ashwamedh Foundation. So in exceptional cases such unplanned events do take place. We allowed them to share their knowledge but didn't allowed them to sell any products in our center.  We are a Non profit organisation. We don't allow anyone to sell anything in our premises. Nevertheless it was informative session.  #AshwamedhFoundation #TeamAshwamedh

Team lunch at BKC Drive After successful completion of Academic Year 2023-24 and completing the admission process for the new academic year it was important to take all the team members of Ashwamedh Foundation on a team lunch to celebrate their efforts. Managing committee of Ashwamedh Foundation zeroed down to BKC Drive after evaluating many buffet options in Mumbai.               Team Lunch was sponspored by our treasurer Abdul Hakim Ansari and President Sneha Sharma. Interview round of Admission Process for Academic year 2023-24 of Ashwamedh Foundation

 Last weekend around 100 students and their parents were interviewed for the project Ankur academic year 2024-25. As compared to last year, parents have improved and children performed well. We will declare the final result after evaluation. Also, evaluation will be done by social work experts and seats will be allocated to only needy, poor and underprivileged students and families.
