World Poetry Day Celebration

WORLD POETRY DAY CELEBRATION Description: 21st March is celebrated as World Poetry Day every year throughout the World as declared by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999. The purpose of the day is to promote the reading, writing, publishing and teaching of poetry throughout the world. Ashwamedh Foundation celebrated World Poetry Day with Kids in Santacruz with Poetry Recitation competition. Special thanks to Kusum Teacher for her support to Team Ashwamedh.Hakim & Sneha judged the competition and awarded the winner with some fantastic prizes. Sharing some photos of the activity. Project Ankur by Ashwamedh Foundation Lecture No. 5

Project Ankur Lecture No. 5 by Ashwamedh Foundation Ashwamedh Foundation's Flagship Program 'Project Ankur' focus on Basic Literacy and Education of Under-privileged children. We teach Maths, English and General Knowledge to students in a very interactive and fun-learning way. After the gap of Ganesh Utsav and Unit Test Exams we resumed our Project Ankur again in the month of September 2017. Here are the details of Lecture number 5 of Project Ankur. !!! National Youth Day - Ashwamedh Foundation's Walkathon - 2015 !!! In 1984, the Government of India declared and decided to observe the birthday of Swami Vivekananda (12 January, according to the English calendar) as a National Youth Day every year from 1985 onwards.The National Youth Day is observed all over India at schools and colleges, with processions, speeches, recitations, music, youth conventions, seminars, Yogasanas, presentations, competitions in essay-writing, recitations and sports on 12 January every year. On the occasion, Ashwamedh Foundation carried out Walkathon in Air India Sports Club's Ground in Santacruz (East) to create awareness among the youth about benefits of daily brisk walking for 30 minutes. Diwali Volunteers Meeting 2018 of Ashwamedh Foundation at Garware Institute on 11th Nov 2018

Ashwamedh Foundation carried out Diwali Volunteers Meeting 2018 at Garware Institute, Mumbai University on 11th Nov 2018 from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. The meeting was Chaired by Ms. Monika Singh and Convened by Mr. Deepak Doddamani. Mr. Jitendra Patel started the meeting with 'Call to Order' and attendance. He welcomed hon'ble dignitaries to deliver their speeches. Sr Volunteer Rohini shared her experience after speeches by Dignitaries. New Volunteers were also given the opportunity to introduce them and share how they can contribute the to Ashwamedh Foundation. Chairperson delivered her speech at the end and appealed volunteers to be the part of a growth story of Ashwamedh Foundation. Mr. Jitendra Patel adjourned the meeting.

Speaking about my experience, it was always my desire to be a part of an NGO or a social Organization so that I could be of use to others. And YES Ashwamedh gave me this opportunity. Believe me it was truly worth everything. Sharing your knowledge with people who need to know it....helping the society by creating awareness...helping the needy however small way one can...bringing a smile on people's face; especially kids, is worth it. Ashwamedh Foundation works in truly different way. Looking forward to be a part of this organization more and more.
