Daan Utsav (formerly known as Joy of Giving Week) 2016

Ashwamedh Foundation is founded on 1st August 2012 by Mr. Deepak Doddamani with his like minded students & friends. Since it's inception Ashwamedh Foundation made Joy Of Giving Week it's culture.
      In first year we collected Electronics Waste from Donors and then gave it to  recycling firm. In 2014 we collected Clothes, Utensils, Books etc.materials from donors and donated it to the needy people. We donated clothes to Ashram in Sindhudurg, NGOs in Santacruz, Missionary of Charity in Byculla etc.  
       During 'Daan utsav 2015' we collaborated with Ramnarain Ruia college NSS students. We sent warm clothes, bedsheets and clothes to J & K flood victims through Postal Courier service. Some clothes were donated to J & K flood victims migranted in Mumbai staying near Bandra Terminus railway tracks in temporary shulters.
We also sent Clothes with watchman Mr. Vijay Bahadur of Vakola based residential society to distribute them in earthquake affected Dhangdi village in Nepal.
  In the year 2016 Ashwamedh Foundation is celebrating Daan Utsav 2016 in Sathaye College; Vile Parle, Mumbai. We will collect donation in Monetary and Materials kinds from 29 September to 1st October in their college. We will also accept Daan from general public till 8th October 2016. And then distribute it to needy people in different areas.
     Ashwamedh Foundation considers Daan Utsav as the Biggest Charity Festival in India. We understand it's importance and congratulate all the NGOs who organize celebrate this Joy of Giving Week in India.
